Deputy Principal – Teaching and Learning P-12

Permanent Full-time

The Deputy Principal – Teaching and Learning P-12, is a strategic member of the School’s Executive.  The role requires insight and vision and will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to show courageous 21st century leadership in developing an inclusive learning community.  This will rest on nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, parents and community stakeholders. He/She will have a demonstrated willingness to support the School’s Christian mission and to encourage among staff, students and their families an active engagement with the Christian Faith as understood by the Anglican Church of Australia.

The Deputy Principal – Teaching and Learning P-12, will build an inclusive model of learning-centered leadership with a specific focus on pedagogical strategic planning.  They will inspire, guide, model and lead excellence to develop a strong and visionary learning culture from Preschool to Year 12.  The Deputy Principal – Teaching and Learning P-12 will assist the Principal in the leadership of the School (Preschool to Year 12) to provide vision and leadership to staff, students and the school community. He/She will show a demonstrated openness to the Christian faith as understood by the Anglican Church of Australia.

Deputy Principal – Wellbeing P-12

Permanent Full-Time

The Deputy Principal – Wellbeing P–12 is a member of the School Executive Team and is responsible to the Principal for providing opportunities for the growth and development of students from Preschool to Year 12. To oversee and develop the Pastoral Care, Welfare, Wellbeing and Discipline of the whole school.

The Deputy Principal – Wellbeing P-12 must be committed to supporting the School’s culture and ethos. He/She must possess a sound knowledge of current approaches to pastoral care, a broad knowledge of and commitment to co-curricular activities and a demonstrated willingness to support the school’s Christian mission and to encourage among staff, students and their families an active engagement with the Christian Faith as understood by the Anglican Church of Australia. In addition to these capacities he/she must also be able to demonstrate excellent administrative and organisational skills and be well-regarded by the community and by their professional colleagues.

HSIE Class Teacher

Scone Grammar School is looking for a Full-Time HSIE Teacher to join our dynamic team to commence Term 1, 2022.

The following skills and expertise would be seen as an advantage.

  • Approval to teach both History 7-10 and either Modern History or Ancient History 11-12.
  • A willingness to teach Stage 5 History Elective, Stages 4 and 5 Geography and Stage 5 Commerce.

  • Capacity to teach Stage 6 CAFS (Community & Family Studies) / SLR (Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation) and PDHPE
  • Sports coaching experience
  • Sports organisation experience
